If someone gets here by searching for ERROR ITMS-90046 like me, my solution was to Clean it and delete all precompiled frameworks (the custom ones) and then build again. Note: The error description said something about key “aps-environment” as “development”.

I grappled with this issue for an hour, and finally found a fix. Turned out the Development Team was different in ProjectTarget and ProjectTests.
This is what you need to do: Go to ~/Library/MobileDevice/Provisioning\ Profiles/ and delete all the provisioning profiles from there. Go to Xcode > Preferences > Accounts and select the Apple ID. Click Download Manual Profiles or Download All Profiles. And it will download all the provisioning profiles again.
Where they have been for older versions of Xcode: ~/Library/MobileDevice/Provisioning\ Profiles Provisioning profiles are not stored with the project. Xcode has a common area and the profile is pulled when you build and bundled with the ipa.
