C# List Sort by x then y

For versions of .Net where you can use LINQ OrderBy and ThenBy (or ThenByDescending if needed):

using System.Linq;
....
List<SomeClass>() a;
List<SomeClass> b = a.OrderBy(x => x.x).ThenBy(x => x.y).ToList();
