        modelBuilder.Entity<User>()
            .HasOptional<Contact>(u => u.Contact)
            .WithOptionalDependent(c => c.User).Map(p => p.MapKey("ContactID"));

You set only your navigational objects in your POCOs and instead you use fluent API to map your key to the correct column.
