 lv.setOnItemClickListener(new OnItemClickListener() {

                intent.putExtra(EXTRA_MESSAGE, message);

        });

To retrieve the object upon you have clicked you can use the AdapterView:

ListEntry entry = (ListEntry) parent.getItemAtPosition(position);
