The DoCmd.OpenReport method has various arguments, one of which is a Where statement:
DoCmd.OpenReport"rptReport", acViewPreview,,"ID=" & Me.ID
That is
expression.OpenReport(ReportName, View, FilterName, WhereCondition, WindowMode, OpenArgs)
