If you happen to be using Windows 8 and up, here’s how to get to it:
-
The newer Microsoft SQL Server Configuration Manager is a snap-in for
the Microsoft Management Console program. -
It is not a stand-alone
program as used in the previous versions of Microsoft Windows
operating systems. -
SQL Server Configuration Manager doesn’t appear as
an application when running Windows 8. -
To open SQL Server
Configuration Manager, in the Search charm, under Apps, type:SQLServerManager15.msc
for [SQL Server 2019] orSQLServerManager14.msc
for [SQL Server 2017] orSQLServerManager13.msc
for [SQL Server 2016] orSQLServerManager12.msc
for [SQL Server 2014] orSQLServerManager11.msc
for [SQL Server 2012] orSQLServerManager10.msc
for [SQL Server 2008], and then press Enter.
