NSTimer *timer = [NSTimer timerWithTimeInterval:... 
                                         target:...
                                       selector:....
                                       userInfo:...
                                        repeats:...];
[[NSRunLoop mainRunLoop] addTimer:timer forMode:NSRunLoopCommonModes];
