Notice this in the above code:

// This is handled for you by the 2.0+ Gradle Plugin
aaptOptions {
    additionalParameters "--no-version-vectors"
}

and

generatedDensities = []

UPDATE

If this generatedDensities = [] is showing deprecated, use the following instead.

vectorDrawables.generatedDensities = []
