Catching NSException in Swift

Here is some code, that converts NSExceptions to Swift 2 errors.

Now you can use 

do {
    try ObjC.catchException {

       /* calls that might throw an NSException */
    }
}
catch {
    print("An error ocurred: \(error)")
}

ObjC.h:

+ (BOOL)catchException:(void(^)(void))tryBlock error:(__autoreleasing NSError **)error;

@implementation ObjC 

+ (BOOL)catchException:(void(^)(void))tryBlock error:(__autoreleasing NSError **)error {
    @try {
        tryBlock();
        return YES;
    }
    @catch (NSException *exception) {
        *error = [[NSError alloc] initWithDomain:exception.name code:0 userInfo:exception.userInfo];
        return NO;
    }
}

Don’t forget to add this to your “*-Bridging-Header.h”:
