Change connection string & reload app.config at run time

Had to do this exact thing. This is the code that worked for me:

var config = ConfigurationManager.OpenExeConfiguration(ConfigurationUserLevel.None);
var connectionStringsSection = (ConnectionStringsSection)config.GetSection("connectionStrings");
connectionStringsSection.ConnectionStrings["Blah"].ConnectionString = "Data Source=blah;Initial Catalog=blah;UID=blah;password=blah";
config.Save();
ConfigurationManager.RefreshSection("connectionStrings");
