How to get kafka consume lag in java program

In case if you don’t want to include kafka (and scala) dependencies to your project you can use class below. It uses only kafka-clients dependencies.

import org.apache.kafka.clients.consumer.ConsumerConfig;
import org.apache.kafka.clients.consumer.KafkaConsumer;
import org.apache.kafka.clients.consumer.OffsetAndMetadata;
import org.apache.kafka.common.PartitionInfo;
import org.apache.kafka.common.TopicPartition;
import org.apache.kafka.common.serialization.StringDeserializer;

import java.util.List;
import java.util.Map;
import java.util.Properties;
import java.util.UUID;
import java.util.concurrent.ConcurrentHashMap;
import java.util.function.BinaryOperator;
import java.util.stream.Collectors;
