open your /etc/paths file, put /usr/local/bin on top of /usr/bin
$ sudo vi /etc/paths
/usr/local/bin
/usr/local/sbin
/usr/bin
/bin
/usr/sbin
/sbin
and Restart the terminal, @mmel
