Java: How to Indent XML Generated by Transformer

You need to enable ‘INDENT’ and set the indent amount for the transformer:

t.setOutputProperty(OutputKeys.INDENT, "yes");
t.setOutputProperty("{http://xml.apache.org/xslt}indent-amount", "2");
