It’s hard to guess without code, but you should be able to set the BindingMode to OneWay.
<TextBox Text="{Binding Path=MyProperty, Mode=OneWay}" />
or from code:
Binding binding = new Binding();
binding.Mode = BindingMode.OneWay;
