Dynamic SQL – EXEC(@SQL) versus EXEC SP_EXECUTESQL(@SQL)

sp_executesql is more likely to promote query plan reuse. When using sp_executesql, parameters are explicitly identified in the calling signature. This excellent article descibes this process.
